The joy of flowers and gardening is ephemeral and painting is a perfect way of holding on to such transient beauty.

I take great pleasure in gardening and when my garden is looking good I find it an inspiring subject for both watercolour and oils. I hope that you enjoy my current collection which shows my particular interest in the qualities of colour, light and contrast.
